Early ticket purchase will afford certain advantages.
There is a $5 cash parking fee required at the time your car is parked. On-site parking is for the duration of the festival. Cars will not be able to be removed until the festival close on Sunday 10/18. Cars parked in the remote lots will also require a $5 per car parking fee. Cars who leave and return to the remote lot will require subsequent parking fees.
Car camping is limited to 2 areas near each intake gate to those who have pre-purchased wrist bands. (Priority to wristband holders on a first come first served basis.) When the lower, Odd Fellows camping area is full the intake gate will be closed and locked. Car campers will not be allowed to leave until the festival ends.
The upper car camping area will also close after it is filled up. However, the main gate will remain open throughout the festival. This does not mean that car campers will be allowed to leave. If you believe you will need to leave the festival prematurely we suggest that you tent camp only.
There is a lot of wooded area on the property. We recommend that you keep your camp in the open areas, but tent camping off the trails and in the woods is not prohibited. It is important to stay within our property line, which will be clearly marked.
There will be no fires other then the festival sponsored bon fire in the designated area. If you like to play with fire, volunteer to help with the bon fire. If you build your own campfire, you will be escorted from the festival without a refund. Respect of festival grounds and other people is essential. Lack of respect cannot be tolerated in speech or action.
Also- We discourage car campers from running their engines after parking. Bring warm clothing. There will be a bon Fire. Keep each other warm. Do not use your car for heat.
DROPOFF If you do not have a wristband before arriving you will not be admitted to the car camping area and you will not be allowed to drop off at the gate (that includes will-call pickup, so it is an urgent recommendation that you get your wrist band before coming – that means buying at a retail location or purchasing on line prior to October 1st.
Parking areas may be as far away as ½ mile. Be prepared to walk, with all your stuff if you do not have a wristband. We expect a crowd and need to keep the traffic flowing on our rural country roads. Only wristband holders will be able to facilitate the fastest flow. Therefore, anyone who has not purchased a wristband will need to proceed to the parking area directly. There will be no exceptions. Limited transport from parking may be available, but is not guaranteed.
A WORD ABOUT THE ANIMALS. DO NOT BRING YOUR PET. We love animals and understand your bond with your pet, but please know that any pets on the premises other than those that live here will be removed. It may help you to know that our animals will undoubtedly be stressed by the large number of visitors coming to their home. We are hoping to make this experience as positive for them as possible.
Take as many pictures as you like, but DO NOT TOUCH or FEED OUR ANIMALS except in designated areas. FEEDING livestock (horses, cows, goats, sheep) something they have not been used to eating or overfeeding could literally kill them causing colic and bloat. Livestock will be contained in an off limits area except for a staff supervised petting area where we may provide limited specially rationed food.
